February 6, 2012- Close to Home
The past two Wednesday nights, Pastor Tommy Howard invited me to teach on the Holy Spirit at Family Revival Center in Foley, Alabama. Brother Tommy is one of my former students and has been very kind to us. Last week I taught on how the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and it was marvelous to see Him work on a number of people during the service. Several came forward to get the sin out of their lives.
Before the service Brother Tommy surprised me with a $1,000 offering for our Ethiopia trip. I was surprised, because the church has been sending us an Ethiopian missions offering every month for a year. Thanks be to God, that offering took us over the top! We have passed our goal, with $20,146 for Ethiopia. Thank you to everyone who has helped us with this wonderful project.
One year ago, by faith we made a commitment to raise $20,000 for a crusade. It was a giant step for our small ministry. Now God has honored us.
We are believing God for miracles, signs and wonders and 20,000 souls saved when we go to Ethiopia in three weeks. Please pray and believe with us.
January 24, 2012 - Victoria!
I met Pastor C. E. Smith at a Light for the Lost Banquet last winter and I have been looking forward to being with him and his congregation ever since. This Sunday we made the long drive and preached at Family Worship Center in Victoria, Texas. Thank God for His blessings on the services, with several making things right with God on Sunday morning. May the Lord bless this great church for its big heart for world missions.

January 13, 2012 - Back in Casey
The first meeting of the new year was in Casey, IL. Casey is a small farming community near the Indiana border. The pastors, Ken and April Wade are dear friends from BRSM. We love them, their congregation and their two sons dearly. Of all the churches we have preached in--big and small--Word of Life Church in small-town Casey is the only church that supports our ministry on a monthly basis. We are so very thankful for these wonderful people.
Ken always goes out of his way to be sure I get to sample the best food in Illinois.
On my way out of town I was reminded why Florida is better than Illinois. A blizzard blew in with temps in the 20s and blowing snow. I was glad I could get out of Dodge and head my HHR south.
January 6, 2012 -On the Road Again
This year has started just like the last four--on the road again!
I drove to Southaven, MS to attend the Prayer and Bible Conference of the Assemblies of God. It was great to be with old friends and make some new ones. God blessed the meeting with some challenging messages.
From there I drove to Missouri to spend a little time with my grandbuddy. Matthew is in third grade now. Hard to believe! It is always so good to see him.
I will start a meeting in Casey, Illinois on Sunday and in the meantime I am trying to prepared my heart for the new year with some fasting and prayer. Please pray with me for divine appointments, divine connections and Holy Ghost setups.
January 1, 2012 - Welcome 2012
The fireworks exploding outside marked the beginning of a new year. I sat in my office worshipping, praying and anticipating. I thank God for His tremendous blessing in 2011. Many were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. This was our fourth consecutive year of full-time evangelism and once again God has provided for our needs. Our mill barrel has never been empty.
Please pray with us for divine appointments in 2012. I would preach every week, if not every day. Not many years ago we had meetings that lasted two, three and even eight months. We are praying that God will connect us with revival-hungry churches in this new year so we can see His mighty hand at work. We are willing to go anywhere God sends us and stay until He is done. His will be done!
